"It's like magic." That's how Tony Johnson describes it. "It doesn't matter if we're changing graphics on a car at the track or wrapping a fleet of vehicles, it's always awesome to see the transformation. I love it."
Tony is the founder and president of the The Decal Source, a specialty graphics company located in McLeansville, NC. His interest in the industry was sparked in high school when he discovered a knack for graphic design and took a part-time job at a print shop. "We weren't doing any wide-format printing then," he said, "but I learned a lot about what it takes to get a print job through production."
With a few years of experience under his belt, Tony decided to try his hand at the business side of printing and bought a PIP franchise in Asheboro, NC. "It was a great experience. I learned a lot about how systems and processes can make or break a print shop," he said.
It was during this season that Tony was first exposed to wide-format printing. It didn't take long for Tony to figure out that he could combine his love of racing and his knowledge of printing. He shifted focus and started The Decal source in 1998 with an emphasis on the motorsports industry. TDS quickly became the go-to company for "making it happen."
Tony has seen the industry shift from hand-painted letters to vinyl letters to full decal wraps. Over the years The Decal Source has grown from two employees to more than 40, running two shifts daily. TDS is the leading provider of vehicle wraps and graphics for the NASCAR industry.

Tony has been married for 25 years and has three kids. He loves hanging out at the lake with them and occasionally playing a little golf.

Anton Justad has been with The Decal Source since 2004. He started in the shipping department while in college and has since worked many different positions ranging from production artist to IT. Complex problem solving, working with people, and being competitive are his key interests. Seeing team TDS take concepts and turning them into finished products is his favorite part of the job. Robin Malphurs joined The Decal Source in 2005 as Human Resources/Administrative Support. She attended High Point University where she studied Accounting. She has worked in the field of Human Resources for 25+ years. Robin enjoys being a part of Team TDS because of her co-workers. Tim Cecil came to TDS in 2010, bringing over two decades of experience producing and installing vinyl graphics with him. He has managed the Installation and Production Departments as well as being a member of TDS's Leadership Management Team. While Tim's favorite project at TDS was installing track wall graphics at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, color profiling is his passion. Tim enjoys playing piano and tending his 46 acre farm where he raises guinea fowl, pygmy goats, and Toy Poodles in his free time.EMAIL PERSON

Randy Brown joined The Decal Source in October of 2000. He is currently the Printing Department Manager and handles purchasing and small format thermal printing. Prior to joining The Decal Source, Randy worked in the screen-printed decorative glass industry and also owned and operated a small vinyl graphics company. Randy earned an Associates Degree in Business Administration from Southeastern Community College and a Vocational Diploma in Commercial Art from Fayettville Technical Institute, both in North Carolina. Randy currently resides with his wife and daughter in High Point, NC.

Kyle Gilyard started his career at The Decal Source in the summer of 2017. Originally brought on as an installer, it was a dream come true to be able to install the liveries of the stars of NASCAR. After a year long stint in install department, he has transitioned to lead the commercial sales team. He brings with him five years of experience in the vinyl graphics industry, along with a degree in graphic design. Janine Keobouala has been a proud member of the Decal Source team since November 2014. She brings with her over eleven (11) years’ experience in project management and customer service in the sign industry and has extensive experience working with a diverse client and subcontractor base nationwide. As Commercial Account Coordinator she acts as a liaison between customers and TDS’s production and installation departments making sure the quality product and service exceed customer expectations. Jon Napier began his career with TDS in June 2015 as Install Coordinator. From there, moved into the Commercial Sales department in February 2016. Primary responsibility is serving all commercial accounts within the Commercial Sales Team as the Commercial Account Coordinator. My favorite part of the job is servicing our customers, seeing projects that we’ve created and completed around town every day, and the people that I get the privilege of working with on a daily basis. Brian Nelson came to work for TDS at the beginning of 2015. He has been in the graphic and sign industry for over 15 years as a territory sales representative for both manufacturing and distribution companies of graphics materials. This was not his first time dealing with TDS, as he was a past vendor of digital media products for them. Working with high profile clients in the motorsports industry is something he has been interested in doing since his early days of watching Nascar with his family. When he is not working, you might find Brian on one of the many golf courses around the area or enjoying time with his wife and two daughters.
